LuxProvide obtains the ISO 27001 certification

As one of the key targets of the business for 2022, LuxProvide has received the renowned ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, showing great progress in the implementation of a solid information security management system, encompassing the company’s activities and the MeluXina supercomputer platform.

For a vast majority of businesses and organizations today, data is the biggest asset. The challenge for them is to be able to process these large quantities of data and run simulations or compute-intensive AI workloads in a secure and trusted environment.

LuxProvide offer companies a range of digital solutions to innovate and generate business value from their data, processing them via the trusted and cyber-secure supercomputer platform MeluXina.

– “Our mission at LuxProvide is to become the technology backbone contributing to the digital transformation of our society. A challenging goal that can only become a reality thanks to partnerships and cooperations with many actors in the digitalisation and innovation sphere. LuxProvide being ISO certified and committed to continuously improve its security level, allows them to focus on their core business and move forward at supercomputing speed”, says David Papiah, LuxProvide’s CEO.

The ISO certification is a very important achievement since it provides a framework for continuous improvement which LuxProvide will use to ensure that its security level is constantly increased. This also means integrating a security dimension into all aspects of activity: from internal processes to services for customers. A yearly audit ensures that a roadmap for enhancing security is in place and followed.

On the path to being certified, since its creation in 2019, LuxProvide set up controls already in line with the state of the art ISO/IEC 27002:2022 standard. All company employees were engaged in the Information Security Management System to ensure a successful result.
